My quest to play every game to have been #1 on the UK’s official games charts has taken me to the end of 1987. Every game I covered in 1987 was on the Spectrum, which is a product of a lack of data as much as the fact that the data I did find indicated that it was well in front in game sales. Both of those things will be changing soon. I kicked off 1987 with one of my longest and proudest entries yet, Trivial Pursuit setting out something of my wider purpose for the project.
All of 1987′s reviews in one place:
- Trivial Pursuit (Domark, Spectrum, 1986)
- Gauntlet (US Gold, Spectrum, 1987)
- Leader Board (US Gold, Spectrum, 1987)
- Feud (Bulldog, Spectrum, 1987)
- BMX Simulator (Codemasters, Spectrum, 1987)
- Milk Race (Mastertronic, Spectrum, 1987)
- Barbarian (Palace, Spectrum, 1987)
- Exolon (Hewson, Spectrum)
- Renegade (Imagine, Spectrum)
Coming up next: Sequels, Oscar-winners, and 16-bits…
