#19: Bombuzal (Image Works, Commodore 64, 1988)
At the start screen, one is offered the choice to play in 2D or 3D; selecting the latter gives you an ugly green blob with a forced smile to control in an isometric view that renders the game entirely unplayable due a difficulty in determining which direction on your joystick will correspond to which direction on screen. 2D mode offers absolutely nothing in the realm of graphical excitement, but is at least broadly functional.
