My quest to play every game to have been #1 on the UK’s official games charts has taken me to the end of 1984. That didn’t take long, starting as it did at the mid-point of the year and taking in only five games. Charts I’ve found from before the Gallup ones start have Jet Set Willy at #1 for several months more before though, so maybe it isn’t so far off the whole picture.
